Professional
info
I am and have always been at home working with technology. I have a very analytical and logical mind which has always helped me when dealing with detailed tasks involving numbers and set procedures. My time; first as a student of multimedia (which is a science of communication) and then as a support advisor have enriched my right-side brain, granting me a balance between logic, emotion, facts and creativity.
This balance is what enables me to think outside the box, consider extra possibilities, it strengthens my curiosity and drives my need to be a constant learner.

Job position: Shopify Support Advisor
March 2018 - present
I have been working with Shopify as a frontline support agent now for over three years. There is a high focus on context gathering and troubleshooting. An advisor covers a very wide area of support which includes; domains, Facebook, Instagram, payment gateways, applications, store-based themes, taxes, billing, shipping and many more. Most importantly an explicit attention to detail is required to maintain security on the platform and to ensure correct information is provided when its needed. This role has enabled me to grow while sharing in the highs and lows of the merchants I have supported. It is an amazing job, within an amazing company. I have learned so much, more than I ever expected.
Job position: Multimedia Manager
2013 - 2014
It was my responsibility to handle all the media needs of Hewitt's College; including software, online media, and print media. This also included dealing with the printers and advertising agencies directly. During this time, I designed the layout of a 64 page Leaving Certificate guide, wrote a flashcard programme using Adobe Flash to aid the students in revision, redesigned the report card system and created a photo database of every student in the school.
Job position: Web-designer at SECAD
2011 - 2012
SECAD or the (South East Cork Area Development) employed me under the TŬS Scheme. I worked with many organisations to create web-site solutions that are based on CMS (Content Management Systems)
for e.g. (WordPress and Joomla) so they could be maintained in-house after I finished my allotted time. I was able to help a lot of charities it was very rewarding.
